This is a black wool and angora blend sweater made in Italy for Guy Laroche Paris.  The sweater is made in a cardigan style and does up with six abalone shell buttons.  There is a ribbed pattern woven into the wool (see close-up photos).

Fabric:  60% wool / 20% angora / 20% polyamide

Sizing: Size S for small is indicated, but please rely on the following measurements for fit, keeping in mind that the wool could be stretched somewhat for a tighter fit:

Shoulders:  17” unstretched, across seam-to-seam

Sleeves:  25 1/2” long

Sleeve Inseam:  20”

Bust:  35” unstretched

Waist: 26” around unstretched

Length:  19”, measured flat

Condition: This sweater is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear or staining.  This sweater looks to have seen little use and was well cared for.
